Khimia-2018: New REE extractants LPHEX-C are in demand

The "Khimia-2018" exhibition held in Moscow revealed a significant interest from various industial fields representatives in modern solutions in the field of extraction chemistry. The diversity of requests is really amazing. Effective extractants are needed for:

  • sludge and phosphogypsum recycling;
  • extraction of Pt-group metals;
  • extraction of ruthenium, iridium, lithium, potassium;
  • power supplies recycling;
  • superfine purification of compounds from heavy metals.

It should be noted that the incentive for improving the methods of extraction and the compounds used is not only improving the economy of enterprises by increasing the metals extraction efficiency, but also striving to improve the environmental component of production, including due to the low toxicity of the extractant, reduced wastewater volume, etc.

From scientific research institutes and universities special laboratories considerable interest was shown in the development of new organosilicon and organophosphate materials. So, in the field of phosphorus- and organometallic chemistry attention was attracted by:

  • polybis(2-dimethylaminoethylamino)phosphazene - a biodegradable product used as a polymer carrier for targeted drug delivery;
  • polybis(methoxyethoxyethoxy)phosphazene (MEEP) - a solid electrolyte for light batteries;
  • polybis(trifluoroethoxy)phosphazene (PTFEPz) is a unique polymer obtaining “native” piezoelectric properties (polarization enhances piezoelectric properties).

We sincerely thank all visitors who showed interest in our products, and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial cooperation!
